The feast of the National Marine Shrine at Matara in the deep south of our Island-home will be on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th 2008. People from all walks of life, even every creed and every corner of the Island gather at the feet of Our Lady of Matara.  It is a blessing and privilege to all in the Diocese of Galle.

Hoisting of the Flag and Holy Mass followed by Novena.  

5th to 11th September - 04.30 PM
Holy Mass followed by Novena. 

12th Friday - 04.30 PM
Holy Hour followed by the Eucharistic Procession and Benediction. 

13th Saturday - 04.00 PM
Rosary, Litany,Vespers and Procession Celebrant - Rt.Rev.Dr.Don Norbert Andradi - Bishop of Anuradapura.

14th Sunday - 04.00 AM to 06.00 AM
Holy Masses.
