Since Tsunami, many personal friends (locally and abroad) and the devotees of the shrine of Our Lady of Matara, priests, religious, parishes and so many other well-wishers, came forward in providing generous support to help these victims!

Donations were made for the reconstruction and the repairs of the Shrine.

Some of them make donations for housing, income generating projects, Scholarship project and for other projects, etc.

A lot of food and clothes were collected by some Sri Lankan friends, who work in Italy.Lots of clothes received through Father Glenn and they were sent to Matara from Middle East.A medical camp was run by a team of doctors from Malta. So many are in number, who assist us in executing relief work for the Tsunami victims.

We are very grateful to all these friends, who helped us very generously!
